So my trusty, currently un-named friend, sent me quite the invite this morning. One of which to Google’s new “Wave” platform.
Obviously, I haven’t many friends on the service MAINLY due to the fact that i can’t invite anyone yet, but from what i can tell so far, it is a pretty decent “app”.
I suppose I will talk about it more when i get more used to it, but i just thought i would let you know i think it is a pretty interesting way to handle conversation.
It’s been a while since i posted something last but AHYWHORE,
Com.Puter.tv is having a contest to see who can make the best 1 – 2 minute song and the winner gets a pretty rockin’ microphone set. With the induction of KNN radio (something I have yet to talk about but i will) We are going to need some decent mics to get a good start…
My lame try at a contest entry, but maybe we can get some sort of snowball effect going, to a point where it seems awesome… I wish what i just said meant something…
Here is the link in case you want to comment or anything,
Just a quick post (even though i haven’t been on my blog in ages) about this whole Joe Wilson shouting YOU LIE! in the middle of Barrack Obama’s speech about health care. Now some of you younger people maybe thinking, ‘but Keith, if you live in Canada how does any of this affect you?’ Well i’ll tell you how. Canada is a great country but in a nutshell it is basically the boyfriend that tries to stand up for himself while the PMSing wife berates him about not standing up for HER side of the matter whether she is right or utterly incorrect. (Yes I realize I just equated countries to a bitchy wife and a self righteous husband, moving on…) I think all of this republican nonsense is just that. You may remember an ex-president known as George W. Bush who, for lack of a better word, RAPED american freedoms. How about when he passed the patriot act, considered passing a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, destroyed civil liberties, and KILLED haveous corpus. You people, and yes, I mean that in the crudest of senses, were sitting there passing him the cookies of gratification he so desired. Though, i suppose according to you at least the goose and the gander are to completely different things and should be treated as such, for when Barack Obama tries something as silly as fixing the DEEPLY flawed american healthcare system, all YOU PEOPLE do is complain about taking away your freedoms … YEAH. I actually remember a time when the press tried to get Americans to lighten up on Bush when his approval rating was around 30%, using phrases like, he’s doing the best he can, and it’s hard to be the president of the United States. I think someone should pass Barack his long overdue cookie of gratification, for he genuinely IS doing the best he can.
This has been me being serious for once, and… YOU LIE!!!! lol
Maybe my next post will be a video of a cat with a hat on or a dog skate boarding.

Its been a few days since my last post.
Just living up summer (rolls eyes). Kind of boring really. I’ve been hanging out with my sister and we have started watching a show called “weeds”. pretty good.
AAAND
I found a cool new thing. If your ever watching videos on Megavideo and it says you have reached your 72 minute limit, log into your router and renew your internet lease, it will change your I.P. and you can watch videos again.
Well the season six finale finale of the youtube hit show, “Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This”, air yesterday. It was pretty sweet, they microwaved a bottle of silly string but in the next video (because the silly string was lame for a finale) they microwave a huge mercury vapor bulb.
If you have never seen the show you should check it out, JPizzle1122 (his youtube channel) will have 6 season worth of content you can watch if you are bored.
People always say a phrase that I love a lot. “The earth was not made in a day”. Surely it is never used in a religious context, but instead it is used to portray the idea that the best things in life take time or, alternatively, are not rushed. Though, according to my friend, the Bible, the earth was indeed created in six (seven I suppose if you count laying on your ass while you could be thinking up a way the make pollution NOT adversely affect the world (please God do not strike me down now for I am only kidding))… Six days couldn’t be enough to create a vast, multifaceted land mass such as the earth. I digress.
Some people believe that you are not supposed to take each word of the Bible literally, more or less in the sense that they are a metaphor for something else. This is an interesting take because I find a larger part of the Bible can only be interpreted in one way.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
Now God probably isn’t actually saying these words, but he sure is making quite the easy task of making EVERYTHING.
I’m not trying to make it seem like I am a die hard atheist but some of these things trouble me.
Sorry to go on that mini rant but another saying i like is; we only use ten percent of our minds. This is just plain false, look it up. It was just a saying put in place by magicians and the like to make you think it was possible to harness more sort of… powers for lack of a better word.
Well, as poorly formatted it is, that it how i stand on two of my favorite sayings.
People need to get off of the ‘Vista sucks’ bandwagon. All i still hear is “vista sucks, bleh” all the time. People don’t realize that with something new comes hard ships, and a group of these same people probably tried vista right away on a crappy, bloatware ridden laptop at best buy, said, “oh gee this is kinda slow”, and know all they can do is cry.
Vista is at a point now where it isn’t as finicky as it once was, you just have to treat it right. (I know this may seem kinda late but Windows seven, which i believe is already out for companies like Dell and Acer, will have similar, if not identical, specs to vista)
1.) Do not try using vista with less than a gig of ram, vista loves a gig. If you don’t have enough ram you’re gonna have a bad time.
2.) Do not try to get a way with a bad CPU or bad GPU, Vista is newer software give it the respect it now deserves with new Hardware. If you don’t have newer hardware you’re gonna have a bad time.
3.) (and probably most important) Do do a clean install of your operating system with JUST the OS disk. You already have the vista key just make a disk corresponding to the Vista you have. Bloatware that comes from manufacturers will slow your computer down a lot, and sometime just uninstalling these items or blocking them still will slow your PC down. You can later go to the makers websites and download the drivers for your computer. If you decide to live with the bloatware on your computer you’re gonna have a bad time.
Well some would like to say that the internet is one of the only places where you can share your unadulterated comments and feelings to the world. I find this is Mostly true. Two things come to mind with this topic.
Idiotic Ramble:
Now, even though a lot of you would peg this as such, I am merely referring to people who have nothing nothing to say so these people saying something that either make theme sound stupid or is just derogatory, boiling down to something like,” wow, i wish i had those five minutes back”. If you are still confused here is a real world example taken from, where else, Youtube.
Now on ‘Failblog’ video people often post, “Did he die?” as a joke because that what people always used to ask in videos where people got hurt. In this case someone said,”?eid ehs did”. Did she die backwards… A double negative, not only useless babble, but it is stupefied even more by making it backwards. Sadly, this is only where it begins. A response to this was, “Your so cool. you type like an ignorant fuck”. So this idiot had to take time out of his busy schedule (sarcasm) to insult another idiot with nothing to do. Any way, because of this Youtube and many other sites (along with TV, Radio, liturature) are enforcing censorship.
Censorship:
This has always been a sketchy topic mainly because people often say that we have the right to free speech. I’m not going to pretend i know everything about rights and laws and such but while it is true we have ‘free speech’, websites have to be thought of as private property. I do think that censorship is stupid because no child or any other person for that matter is going to be offended by hearing the words “shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker”, and last but not least, “tits”. Although, it gets better. As you may know, partnered videos on Youtube can’t have excessive swearing, but not there are 227 words that you can’t put in your comments. I’ve heard you’ll be able to uncensor comments featuring one of these 227 words, but it just shows how our culture is spiraling down to an over sensitive, fearful, mass, gray, blob.
Just sad.
Here is a video of all the words you cannot say on Youtube.
Just making a short post to let you all know that i am going to Edmonton to pick up my sister. She is visiting for about 3 weeks. Anyway, expect new content soon.
